Binkley’s review

By Liam Leary

For this month’s restaurant review, I went to Binkley’s at the intersection of College Ave. and Kessler Blvd. This location was originally Binkley's Drug Store from 1928 to 1970. It serves a variety of foods. I started with an appetizer of cheese curds, and just to point out so I don't forget — all the foods I'm about to mention are better dipped in ranch. Anyway, the cheese curds are very good at not immediately filling you up and are also very tasty.

But you know what's better than the appetizer? The actual food that you came here to eat! I got a type of pasta called fettuccine Alfredo. The fettuccine noodles were the best part of the meal, and the chicken was alright, but not nearly as good. As a side dish, I had chili (soup) which was amazing. They also have good pizza with some of the best thick crust I've ever had. My dad got a thin crust pizza that included onions, and he said that it was good. For dessert, the ice cream is delicious. Although, it is a rather large amount of ice cream, which makes it hard to eat after you just had an entire dinner and you are full.
