Both teams after the big game

The 2022 volleyball season for CFI 84 was great! All of our teams have winning records. A highlight of the schedule was our teams playing against each other. In the first game of the night, the 6th grade played the 5th grade. The 6th graders won the first game 21 - 20 thanks to great serving by Zoe Melton and Angalo Fraga. But the outstanding serving of 5th graders Kennedy Jones and Nolan Schluge helped them fight back to win the second game 21 - 12 and the third game 15 - 9. “The volleys were really fun; we never got to do that with any other teams. I am proud of the outcome,” said Elin Goodwine. The surprising upset kept the 5th graders undefeated. “I had confidence in my team the whole time, and we remain undefeated!” said Schluge. Shout out to the 5th grade fan club - the loudest we‘ve ever witnessed!
