The 2022 Men’s World Cup final in December was the most-watched men’s World Cup in history according to Nielsen, with nearly 17 million viewers. And there is a lot of excitement building for the Women’s World Cup this July!

The USA women's soccer team is No. 1 in the world right now, and they qualified pretty early. The USA is in group E with Vietnam, Netherlands and Portugal. Last year, Netherlands was the runner up and USA won, so this is a pretty strong group.

Some of the other groups to watch out for are group H and group G. Group H has Germany (ranked second), Morocco, Colombia and Korea Republic. Group G has Sweden (ranked third), South Africa, Italy and Argentina.

This year the prize money went up 300% for the women, to try to make it more equal to what the men earn. The World Cup works the same way, so the prize should be equal right?
