With the end of the school year approaching, our eighth graders are finalizing their choices for high school. There are so many choices available in Indy, and 84 graduates will be spread out between 11 schools! According to our survey, 45% are going to private schools, with Brebeuf Jesuit being the most common choice. North Central High School was the most popular choice, with 15 eighth graders headed there. When asked about her thoughts on high school, Quinn Valentinealentin says sh’s, “Very excited! I can't wait to meet new people and learn more things.” Amira Harrel’s advice to all incoming eighth graders is, “Be more organized with your homework and community project, and try to balance your outside life with your school life.”
The eighth graders have mixed feelings about heading off to high school and leaving 84, but most are anticipating their newfound freedom and fun times ahead!
