Recipe
Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper. Wash apples under hot water, scrub them with a paper towel, and dry well.
Melt the chocolate wafers in a microwave for one minute, then stir. Continue heating for 30-second increments, stirring until smooth.
Cut each apple into circle slices, removing the core.
Dry one apple slice, dip in chocolate, and repeat, allowing excess to drip off. Lay the slice on the parchment paper. Cool in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
While the apples are cooling, prepare any toppings you would like to add.
Microwave the caramel and heavy cream at 15-second intervals, stirring in between heating until the mixture is smooth, then drizzle over the apples.
Add any toppings you would like.
Eat immediately or store in the refrigerator.
