According to The Center for Conservation Biology, Americans visit beaches around 2 billion times every year. While chilling at the beach is a perfect way to relax, many people love to play games on the beach. Beach games are a perfect way to spend time at the beach while also having fun. Here are some of the most popular beach games known all around America. Playing at the beach is one of the most fun experiences. Here are some of the most popular beach games known all around America.

Spikeball-                                                     

Spikeball is perfect for the beach because it is: enjoyable for long periods of time, does not require intense physical activity, and is extremely easy to transport. 

Volleyball-

Beach volleyball is a version of volleyball known and loved by millions of people played on a beach. The sand on the ground adds a fun twist to the game. 

Football-

Because of the soft sand below you, you're less likely to get hurt making for a more enjoyable experience. 

Seventh grader Siddhartha Shah said that he would rate going to the beach a 10/10! His favorite game to play on the beach is soccer. Siddhartha said, “The sand feels nice and warm on your feet.” Fourth grader, Collette Garber, said “I like to make sandcastles and swim in the ocean.” 

There is more to just sports at the beach. Reading, tanning, and swimming are all popular. Next time you go to the beach, find your favorite activity.
