2024 will be a very busy and exciting year for Indy! We have the NBA All Star weekend on February 15-18 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The eclipse will also be going through Indiana on April 8th. This is very rare. The last solar eclipse that passed through Indy was 2017! “ I find it so fascinating that for a true solar eclipse there is complete darkness,” says science teacher Mrs. Webb. Indy will also be hosting the Olympic swim trials. The last time we hosted them was 1924 so this will be our 100th anniversary. They will be at Lucas Oil Stadium on June 15-18. “ I will be on the local committee which will plan events for kids and their families,” says 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Collins. Singer/songwriter Taylor Swift will also be performing at Lucas Oil Stadium On Nov 1, 2, and 3. Get ready Indy, this is going to be an exciting year!
