This year's NCAA Tournament has 68 teams competing. There will be many different games in different places. The Men’s Final Four rounds will be in Phoenix, Arizona and the women’s Final Four rounds will be in Cleveland, Ohio. There are seven rounds that are single elimination. There are four regional tournaments, and each regional has teams seeded 1-16.

Uconn is favored to win the tournament this year, they were also favored last year and they and they won. Last year there were a total of 7 upsets in the men’s tournament.

South Carolina University is favored to win this year’s Women’s NCAA Tournament. The last 3 tournament champions were: 2023 LSU, 2022 South Carolina, 2021 Stanford.

We interviewed a couple of first graders, Dylan B. said he thought Uconn is going to win. Louis M. thinks Nebraska is going to win, and Bennett M. thinks Purdue is going to win.

“The game is very different, the stage is bigger, the lights are bigger, the crowds are massive, and the pressure can be suffocating. When the eyes of the world are on one game and one game only, it provides an opportunity to match the talent and the moment like no regular season game can!” Boe Boroski.
