Teacher Spotlight

Art teacher Mrs. Reed has been a fan favorite since she joined the 84 community in 2019. Growing up, she loved art class and wanted to continue the fun for others by becoming an art teacher. Her favorite things to make and teach are clay projects. Her favorite part of teaching is “{getting} to spend my days with cool kids!” Other than art, she loves reading, eating (her favorite foods are cake and croissants!), Banksy, coffee, and collecting Nike shoes. According to eighth grader Eva E, “{she’s} got the best shoe game {in the school}.” She is also a huge sports fan. Her favorite team is Liverpool. Many students love Mrs. Reed’s classes because of how supportive and fun she is. Sixth grader Brendan says he likes how much freedom you get when creating projects. Eighth grader Claire says “everybody loves Mrs. Reed!”
